Produced by Bloodbath & Jens Bogren. Album Nightmares Made Flesh. Cancer of the Soul Lyrics. Kill them, for they must die Mongers of the greatest lie Burn them, for (the) sins they scar Followers not leaders in war. Left to rot is their faith on poles Icons shatter with burning holes Curtains fall on religion's role The cancer of the soul. Casket cracks, (with) human debris Death in the last degree Salvation's not, to be seen Faith is lost in the blood-red scream. Repeating God's, name in vain The mantra of your life's pain Body cracks, (with) vivisection Salvation's now a dead infection.

Cancer - Blood Bath Songtext. I am possessed by death, perverted to unbelief Showing no remorse, killing all th(os)e pigs Slicing to your throat, hacking at your face Ungodly thoughts arise, women I despise. Cadavers domain where I once stood None remain apart from the blood. Visions of their deaths, bloody bodies lie See the wounds on (the) flesh, it's you who's next to die Watch you die in pain, I look with no shame No hope for her to be saved, I laugh when others (are) grieving. So I came to you For death Blood I spill, what's left? Cold flesh

Cancer was formed one night in 1988 in the Tontine public house in Ironbridge, Telford by drummer Carl Stokes, guitarist John Walker and bassist Ian Buchanan. The band quickly put together their first two-track demo, No Fuckin' Cover, at the Pits studio in Birmingham, owned by ex-Starfighters vocalist Steve Burton. A second demo session was recorded in 1989, and was followed shortly by the bootleg live album Bloodbath in the Acid, recorded at Wrexham Memorial Hall and pressed on the Headache label. However, No Fuckin' Cover had secured Cancer a deal with Vinyl Solution and in Winter 1989 the band recorded their debut album, To the Gory End, over four days at. Loco Studios in Usk. The record was then mixed by Scott Burns (record producer) at Morrisound Studios, with backing vocals from John Tardy (of Obituary) added to the track "Die, Die", and released in April 1990.
