The 1990 home video compilation Every Trick in the Book collects almost all of the group's videos from 1979's Live at Budokan set up until Busted over a decade later, containing many of the band's biggest hits. Highlights include great in-concert readings of "Surrender," "I Want You to Want Me," and "Ain't That a Shame" - the first two of these clips taken from the band's legendary 1978 concerts in Japan, while the third is a fiery performance from the 1980 Grammy Awards. Although not a definitive collection of the videos Cheap Trick had issued up until 1990 (longtime fans will notice that videos made for the band's classic 1977 self-titled debut and the humorous "Up the Creek" clip from 1983 are missing), Every Trick in the Book is a highly recommended collection of video snapshots of the band, and will create.

Cheap Trick is the first studio album released in 1977 by the American rock band Cheap Trick. It was their debut album for Epic Records, produced by Jack Douglas. The album did not reach the Billboard 200 chart but did "bubble under" at number 207 for one week in April 1977. Most of the songs have a more raw sound akin to hard rock bands of the period compared to the group's later more polished power pop style, and the song lyrics deal with more extreme subject matter than later albums.

The book redefined what ‘scary’ really means. Alive: The Story Of The Andes Survivors, is one of the greatest survival novels in the history of literature. This song tells the true story of a Uruguayan Rugby team, whose plane crashed into the Andes mountains on October 13, 1972. More than a quarter of the passengers died in the initial crash. This song tells the story of the classic Robert Louis Stevenson novel, The Strange Case Of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. Just like the book, it is an exploration of the sinister side that, unfortunately, lies within all of us. Alice. Originally published in 1971 as an anonymous teenage girl’s diary, Beatrice Sparks’ Go Ask Alice managed to stir up quite a controversy.
